Possible causes

The error may occur due to:

  • temporary server performance issues

  • a spike in system activity

  • processing a large volume of transactions (for example, a large cheque run)

What to do

Step 1: Clear your browser cache

In the first instance, clear your web browser cache.

After clearing the cache:

  1. Log back into the system.

  2. Check whether the transaction you were processing has been saved or posted.

Step 2: Review transaction status

Before retrying the action:

  • confirm whether the transaction already exists in the system.

  • avoid reprocessing the same transaction if it has been saved successfully.

Step 3: Reduce transaction volume or retry later

If the error occurred while submitting a large number of transactions (for example, cheques):

  • try reducing the number of items in the run.

  • retry the process later in the day when system usage may be lower.

If the issue continues

If the error persists after completing the steps above:

  • take note of the time and action being performed.

  • contact Support with details of the transaction and the error message displayed.
