Link the budget scenario
Click System Set Up then click Establishments.
Click the Budgets tab.
Make sure the Link to Access Education Budgets is checked.
Select the scenario then click Save.
If the scenario isn't listed, this is due to the scenario being:
Set to Private.
Set as Locked or Published.
In both cases, please go back to the Budgets software and the Manage Budgets screen. To change the privacy setting, please refer to the following guide.
Unlock a budget
Select the Published/Locked tab then select Copy to Working Scenarios.
📌Note: This step will also be performed in Access Education Budgets.
Import your budget into the Finance software
Click the Budgets in Education Finance tab.
Click Manage Budgets.
In the top right, select Update from Access Education Budgets.

📌Note:
You can only import budgets into existing financial years. You need to wait until period 1 of the new financial year is open before you can import the budget into that year.
If you would like the new scenario you're importing to just update the current budget column and not the original column you need to lock the budget.
