Credit Card Expenses Import
It is now possible to import CSV files exported directly from your credit card provider into the Credit Card Expense area within Education Finance, significantly speeding up the process of recording and reconciling credit card transactions. Once uploaded, you can map the columns from your export to the relevant fields in Education Finance, then fill in any remaining codes and blanks directly in the expense table before finalising. If you have multiple exports to bring in, you can upload them one after another — meaning the whole process can be completed in one sitting rather than through manual entry.
Further guidance on this feature can be found here.
Budget Exceeded Feed Notifications
For our Education Purchasing users, Evo Feed notifications are now available for when an invoice is imported via the integration that exceeds your allocated budget. Budget holders and users with budget management permissions are notified immediately, so corrective action can be taken as required.
Management Report Updates
We have corrected the budget calculations in the Management Report. The % of Budget Spent in both the Period and YTD sections now uses the correct formula — (Actual + Commitment) ÷ Current Budget × 100 — ensuring commitments are properly accounted for when the Include Commitments option is selected. The Full Year section calculations have also been corrected, so the Projected Budget Outturn and Variance figures now accurately reflect your expected year-end position.
Export Invoices to Excel Option Moved
The 'Export to Excel' button has now been moved on the Invoices screen. It is now a dedicated button in the top right-hand corner, rather than sitting within the Actions dropdown.
