What's new

Consolidated Aged Creditor Report

It is now possible to view aged creditor information across multiple schools from a single report.

How to access

Central finance users can access the Consolidated Aged Creditor Report by:

  1. Navigate to Reports, then click Suppliers.

  2. Select Consolidated Aged Creditor.

Users can filter results by one or more schools and by one or more suppliers, and generate a consolidated view complete with establishment information.

Once generated, the report can be exported to PDF, exported to Excel, or exported in full transaction-level detail to Excel for further analysis.

Consolidated Aged Debtor Report

Following the same approach as the Aged Creditor report, it is now possible to view aged debtor information across multiple schools from Central Establishments.

How to access

  1. Navigate to Reports, then click Customers.

  2. Select Consolidated Aged Debtor Report.

Users can narrow the results using the multi-select school filter and customer filter to focus on exactly the schools and customers you need.

The report can be generated with full establishment information and exported to PDF or Excel, including a detailed transaction-level export for deeper analysis.

Consolidated Customer List Report

How to access

Central users can now view a consolidated customer list across all their schools by:

  1. Navigate to Reports, then click Lists.

  2. Select Consolidated Customer List.

This report includes establishment information shown alongside each customer so you can quickly see which schools hold which customers. The report can be exported to PDF or Excel.

Consolidated Supplier List Report

How to access

  1. Navigate to Reports, then click Lists.

  2. Select Consolidated Supplier List.

This report provides central establishment finance users a single view of supplier information across multiple schools.

Push Supplier data manually to Education Purchasing

Supplier data is currently sent from Education Finance to Education Purchasing automatically every hour.

This supplier data push can now also be triggered manually from the Suppliers screen using the “Send Suppliers to Education Purchasing” button, and as such, when adding a new supplier in Education Finance, the supplier can be pushed immediately to Purchasing.

This option will be available on the Supplier screen for the establishment responsible for creating suppliers – i.e. the Central establishment, or the school level establishment if the school creates supplier records themselves.

Updated Supplier data sent to Education Purchasing

The Education Purchasing integration has been updated to also send the following information alongside the supplier data -

  • Payment Terms – copied into the payment terms selection on the Purchasing supplier card.

  • VAT Number – copied into the Supplier VAT field on the Purchasing supplier card.

  • Default VAT Code – copied into the Default Tax Code field on the Purchasing supplier card.

📌Note: Education Finance is the source of truth for these fields: values sent from Finance overwrite the corresponding fields on the Lightyear supplier card during each sync.

How this version will be made available

These enhancements were released to customers throughout July 2026.
