What's new

Key features

  • Journal posting changes.

  • Ledger code mapping protection

  • Period range in Consolidated Transaction List.

  • Export to Excel improvements.

  • Purchase order date editing.

  • Year-end updates.

Period 13 journal posting changes

We have made a change to prevent debtor and creditor journals from being posted in Period 13. This ensures proper year-end accounting procedures are followed. All other journal types can still post normally in Period 13.

Ledger code mapping protection

It is now possible to prevent accidental data issues by blocking the removal of ledger code mappings when those codes are actively in use. The system will now validate whether a ledger code has been used in transactions or budgets before allowing you to unmap it from an establishment, protecting the integrity of your financial records.

Consolidated Transaction List report period range

Following user feedback, it is now possible to select a period range (Period From and Period To) in the Consolidated Transaction List report. This brings it in line with the single establishment Transaction List report and makes it easier to generate consolidated financial reports across multiple periods for trend analysis and comprehensive financial oversight.

Export to Excel improvements

We have made a change that makes it easier to export data. The "Export to Excel" button has been moved out of the Actions dropdown and is now directly visible on the Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Invoice screens. This means less clicking and faster access to your data.

Purchase order date editing

It is now possible to edit the expected delivery date and order date for purchase orders while they are in Draft and Awaiting Approval states. This gives you more flexibility to adjust order timelines before they are fully processed.

Year-end permission updates

Please note that the "Post After Year End" permission has been removed from all access profiles for Debtor and Creditor journal areas. This change supports proper year-end reconciliation processes and ensures financial accuracy during the transition between financial years.
