Draft Inter-Company Journal
It is now possible to save inter-company journals as drafts before posting them. This new capability gives you greater flexibility to prepare journals in stages, review them with colleagues, or return to complex entries later.
When you create an inter-company journal through Transactions > Journals > Inter-company Journal, you'll see the option to save your work as a draft, allowing you to work at your own pace.
Budget Holder Report Enhancements
We've made an improvement to the Budget Holder Report that makes it easier to understand your financial data at a glance.
The report now includes ledger code descriptions alongside the codes themselves. Where previously you would see only the numeric codes, you now have the full descriptive text displayed, eliminating the need to cross-reference codes with your chart of accounts.
Supplier Bank Details on Invoice
When creating invoices, you can now view supplier bank details directly on the invoice creation screen. This has been implemented to improve safeguarding around invoicing, and ensuring that the correct the bank details have been provided by the invoicing party.
This information is displayed within the Create Invoice workflow, giving you immediate access to payment information without needing to navigate away or open additional screens.
Report Builder Transaction Data
We've expanded the data available in Report Builder to include Transactions. It is now possible to access detailed transaction data, including purchase orders, purchase invoices, supplier credit notes, and sales information.
To access the Transaction data, go to Reports > Report Builder > Report Builder Beta, and select the “Create a new Report” option. Under the “Data Source” dropdown, select “Transactions”, and configure the rest of your report.
Furthermore, within the report itself, you can now drill down to a transaction line level, by clicking on the transaction you wish to drill down in to. This means you can create reports that show not just the overall purchase order or invoice, but the individual items, quantities, and amounts within each transaction.
Reversals Moved to Left Hand Menu
We have made a change to make reversals quicker to find and easier to use. Reversals has been moved from their previous location to its own menu item under “Corrections”, and as such you can now access all reversal functions –
BACS.
Cheques/Direct Payments.
Purchase Invoices.
Purchase Credit Notes.
Receipts.
Sales Invoices.
Sales Credit Notes.
Journals.
Expenses.
- directly from the navigation bar.
This change also resolves a number of issues affecting the search function within Reversals.
